If you haven’t met Michelle Harrell, Society’s new Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L), then allow us to introduce her. She serves Jefferson County residents on a PRN basis through a grant from the Jefferson Foundation.   She will make in-home visits to establish care for those who have never had the opportunity to be evaluated. Through telehealth, she will work collaboratively with a Society Occupational Therapist to set up a Plan of Care. Michelle will then provide the recommended services in the comfort of the clients’ own homes.   Laura Marlow, a journalist for The Leader in Arnold/Imperial interviewed Michelle and wrote an excellent article for the newspaper.
