SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 21 League of Women Voters Hosts Webinar for Voters with Disabilities 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM via ZOOM To help voters with disabilities cast a ballot, the League is sponsoring a statewide Zoom webinar. This webinar will focus on general Missouri voting information as well as information of specific interest to voters with disabilities. Time permitting, plain language descriptions of the ballot measures on the Nov. 5 election will be presented. After the presentation, there will be a question-and-answer session. The Zoom webinar will have an ASL interpreter and captioner from MT & Associates. Anyone interested can click HERE to register. Come to our new Peer Support Group where we grapple with topics like: how do I learn to find new creative ways to adapt to my sight loss? How do I keep my joy in the process of transition? How do I help my family and loved ones understand my sight issues more clearly? And other topics you suggest. Judy Redlich, will spearhead this support group. She is visually impaired, held management positions in the work place all of her life, is a tv/radio talk show host, public speaker, and certified life coach.
