We are hosting a technology day to highlight and demonstrate the many different assistive technology devices that are available to the blind and low vision community. The focus is on highlighting a number of different evolving technologies that are available today. A number of vendors from popular brands will be present to talk and give live, in person demonstrations on their respective devices. These vendors include OrCam, NFocus, Nanopac, Eschenbach and more! Society personnel will be present to answer questions surrounding our Low Vision Clinic and inform visitors of volunteer opportunities. Don’t forget to stop in our Sight Solutions Shop while you are here! Vendors will be showcasing both well-known and newly improved assistive technology devices. These include computer and cell phone software, wearable devices with OCR capabilities and other assistive features, magnification devices, and much more! **Financial assistance may be available for qualifying individuals. Be sure to bring supporting documents showing proof of income to expedite the approval process.
